GANZ ANDERS UND ZWAR:
The Hans Explosion
Hans im Glück 4
(Hans)
Hans
Hans gives his cow the butcher and in return receives the pig. He walks on and meets a young man with a goose under his arm. They walk together and talk. Hans tells the young man about the good luck he's had on his journey so far and how well he's traded. The young man shows Hans how heavy and well-fattened his goose is. Hans says that his pig is not bad either. The young man thinks for a moment and looks over his shoulder. He says, "I'm afraid there might be something wrong with your pig. Just now, a farmer in the neighboring village had a pig stolen. If the farmers see you with the pig, they might think you stole it. Who knows what the farmers might do to you." Hans gets scared. The young man says: "I don't want anything bad to happen to you. If you want, we can trade." Hans says relieved, "Yes, gladly!"
